I am Peixuan Ouyang. I was born in a small city in southern China that most Chinese people have never heard of, even though 5.3 million people live there. I graduated from Carleton College in June 2018, with a BA in Studio Art & Cinema and Media Studies.
I am a photographer, a videomaker, and an artist who explores various physical medium(s) based on conceptual needs. I am attentive to and interested in layers of mediation in different representational forms. Much of my work focuses on documenting the ephemeral and communicating the untranslatable.
